About Matt Rife

Who is Matt Rife?

American stand-up comedian and actor Matt Rife was born on September 10, 1995, in North Lewisburg, Ohio. At age 15 Rife launched his comedy career and then became the youngest person to join MTV's "Wild 'N Out" show before becoming the host of MTV's "TRL" reboot.

Social media success on TikTok catapulted Rife to national touring comedian status after large-scale audiences began filling his sold-out performances across America. His comedy specials include Only Fans (2021), Matthew Steven Rife (2023), and Walking Red Flag (2023) as well as his breakthrough special on Netflix called Natural Selection.
