History Between Lil Wayne and Lauren London

Dwayne Michael Carter, professionally known as “Lil Wayne”. The 41-year-old (soon turning 42 on September 27, 2024) is an American rapper and singer-songwriter. He has been acclaimed and renowned with many individual honors as one of the most influential rappers of the 21st century (tho he didn’t get the honor of performing for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show). He’s known for his unbeatable lyrical prowess and wild presence.

Lauren Nicole London is an American actress. The American actress, aged 39 (turning 40 towards the end of 2024), was born in Los Angeles on December 5, 1984. She has featured some successful roles in films and movies, including ATL and the comedy-drama film Madea’s Big Happy Family — a Tyler Perry movie.

Over the years, Lil Wayne and Lauren London had an on-and-off relationship from 1998 to 2009. They have a son together named Kameron Carter, but beyond that, details about their romantic involvement are not extensively publicized.

Childhood sweethearts Lauren and Lil Wayne have ended their romantic relationship but remain on good terms. Both former couples now co-parent their child Kameron.

How did Lauren London and Lil Wayne meet?

In interviews with Hot 97 in 2013 and Kathleen Cross in 2011, London says, "I've been knowing Wayne since I was 15."

Beyond her comment, little is known about how the couple met; Lil Wayne’s song “Young'n Blues” seems to imply that Lil Wayne was the first to make a move.

Their love affair became public when Lauren London announced her pregnancy with Lil Wayne's child in 2009. They had a son named Kameron, London's first child and Wayne's third.

Are Lauren London and Lil Wayne Still Together?

Sadly, no.

Despite welcoming a child into the world together, the couple called it quits in 2009, the same year their child was born, as Wayne's fidelity was constantly in question.

The couple seems to remain on friendly terms as they co-parent their son, Kameron Carter. London comments that although they "...were in a relationship that didn’t make it", "my son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend," highlighting their mutual respect for each other.

Though their time together was fleeting, the bond they forged endured. In 2016, Lil Wayne took their son Kameron to a basketball game in Los Angeles, marking the child's first public appearance, which was followed by subsequent appearances.

Lauren London has two children — a son and a daughter. Her son Kameron Carter was from her previous relationship with Lil Wayne, and her daughter Kross Asghedom, born in 2016, with Nipsey Hussle, her late partner.

Kameron Carter is London's eldest son. The 14-year-old is the rapper's third child. While he's still just a teen, Kameron is in no time becoming an artist like his father, Wayne.

London's daughter, Kross Ermias Asghedom, is an only child with Hussle. Kross's middle name is an ode to his dad's given name, Airmiess.

Lil Wayne and Lauren London have no daughter together, although both parents have a girl child from a previous relationship.

According to Lauren London, her children, Kameron Carter and Kross Ermias Asghedom, have motivated her throughout her career, helping her stay on course throughout the grief of Hussle's murder and her breakup with Wayne.

Currently, London plays the role of a proud mother to both kids.
