Tour Name: Hell of a Summer Tour US Tour Dates: August 10, 2025-September 13, 2025 |
Heavy metal group Ice Nine Kills head out on their Hell of a Summer Tour, beginning August 10, 2025, in Waukee, IA, and running through September 13, and their annual Silver Screen Con held in Worcester, Massachusetts.
“The Hell of a Summer Tour will be a celebration of all things INK—past, present, and future,” said lead singer Spencer Charnas. “It’s an eclectic bill, and having Mest on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me.”
The horror-inspired group just wrapped up its Silver-Scream-a-Thon Tour in the US, which kicked off in Toronto in April and continued with shows until July in the US and Canada.
The Silver-Scream-a-Thon Tour served up two shows in each city, with Night 1 a front-to-back dedication to their album The Silver Scream (2018) and Night 2 seeing the band play Welcome to Horrowood: The Silver Scream 2 (2021) in its entirety.
Deep cuts and new material were also included in these concerts from the six-member Boston group. The tour was produced by Live Nation and gave Psychos a chance to experience a modern blend of music, theater, and terror.
Ice Nine Kills has been and will continue to be busy in 2025. From April to June, the group performed the Silver-Scream-a-Thon 2025 Tour, opening up on April 26 at the **Rogers Centre in Toronto for heavy metal legends **Metallica on their M72 World Tour for a show which also featured Limp Bizkit on the bill.
The group also played two-night shows in cities like Raleigh, North Carolina, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chicago, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Houston, Atlanta, and Denver, several with icons Metallica.
Ice Nine Kills was also a featured artist on the 2025 Vans Warped Tour, playing the RFK Festival Grounds in Washington, DC, on Day One in June. INK will be doing shows at the Morgue and Krypt Horror Fest 2025 in Albuquerque (September 26-28).
The group will also be performing at the **When We Were Young Festival** at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas on October 18 and October 19 alongside acts like **blink-182, Avril Lavigne, **Panic at the Disco, Weezer, The Offspring, and Bad Religion.
After these Hell of a Summer Tour shows in August and September, Ice Nine Kills will be heading to the UK to start a European Tour in November.

About Ice Nine Kills
Formerly known as just Ice Nine (2000-2006), the heavy metal group Ice Nine Kills has its roots in Boston in 2000, where high school buddies Spencer Charmas and Jeremy Schwartz started the group. The band’s name comes from a fictional substance called “ice-nine” from the 1963 novel by Kurt Vonnegut called Cat’s Cradle.
Charmas is now the only remaining member of Fearless Records’ metalcore phenoms INK, who have six studio albums to go along with three EPs. The group’s songs are usually based on famous horror movies.
For example, the song “Hip To Be Scared” is based around the cinematic classic American Psycho (2000), "The American Nightmare" is Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), while
“The Shower Scene” pays homage to the Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho (1960). The album Welcome to Horrorwood sees each song on the release based on a separate horror film.
INK won the “Best Live Act” award at the Rock Sound Awards in 2024.
