What Is the Name of Carín León's Tour in 2026?

The official name is Tour Norteamérica 2026, billed in English as The North American Tour 2026. That is the wording AEG Presents and Cárdenas Marketing Network used in the February 2026 announcement. Ticketmaster lists the same shows under a different title, De Sonora Para El Mundo Tour 2026, which is where the confusion comes from.

The announcement reads: "Mexican superstar Carín León will bring the Sonoran Desert to the world with the Tour Norteamérica 2026." That line, and the English headline "Carín León Announces The North American Tour 2026," appear in the release distributed to venues on the route, including Mohegan Sun.

"De Sonora Para El Mundo"

You will also see the shows billed as De Sonora Para El Mundo. That phrase comes from the artist's own quote in the announcement, "De Sonora para el mundo," and it is the title Ticketmaster uses for the shows. It points at the same 2026 shows, so a search under either name lands on the same dates.

Who Is Behind the Tour

AEG Presents and Cárdenas Marketing Network promote the North American run. Tickets went on general sale Feb. 13, 2026, according to the Golden 1 Center announcement. The Mohegan Sun release quoted above places the presales in the three days before it, Feb. 10 through Feb. 12. AEG Presents also promotes the Las Vegas residency.

Carín León's Sphere Residency in Las Vegas

Carín León plays seven nights at Sphere in Las Vegas: Sept. 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 and 13, 2026. The run did not start at seven. It began as three shows announced in September 2025 and expanded twice by that October. Sphere Entertainment describes him as the first Latin artist to take its stage.

The Seven Sphere Dates

All seven dates are confirmed in Sphere Entertainment's own announcement of the final show. Some coverage still puts the count at six, but Sphere Entertainment's final announcement confirms seven dates. Seven is the number to work from. One naming point worth getting right: Sphere Entertainment calls the venue Sphere, in Las Vegas. The Venetian Resort refers to it on its own pages as Sphere at The Venetian. Both point at the same building, and the shorter form is the one the venue operator uses.

From Three Nights to Seven

The residency was announced Sept. 11, 2025 with three dates: Sept. 11, 12 and 13, 2026, timed to the city's annual Mexican Independence Day celebration. Presale access opened Sept. 23, 2025 and general sales followed Sept. 26. Three Labor Day weekend shows came next, on Sept. 4, 5 and 6, 2026. Then on Oct. 16, 2025 Sphere Entertainment confirmed Sept. 10 as the seventh and final date, with an artist presale Oct. 22 and general sales Oct. 24. Pollstar reported the same addition the following day.

That sequence explains the odd shape of the calendar: a three-night block, a gap, then a four-night block.

What "Sold Out" Means for the 2026 Tour

Three of the seven Sphere nights (Sept. 11, 12 and 13) carry a "Sold Out" label on the official tour page as of Aug. 13, 2026. The other four do not, though three of them are flagged as last tickets. A "Sold Out" label on a primary seller's page indicates that seller is no longer showing tickets for that date through its primary inventory. It is not a statement about every route into the building.
