What will the show be like? Fans are placing their hopes on Zanmu tracks as well as hits from the past album. The superstar has assured her fans of some terrific light shows, pyros, and mind-blowing visuals which is something they saw in the “Wish” tour, but this time it will be on a higher level.
Expected Ado Tour Highlights
If this tour goes down, it’s going to be the best. We are talking about a global pop star here. Ado would likely perform in major cities across the globe and at some of the most interesting locations.
Ado is known for creating an amazing spectacle—intricate stages, wild effects, and works. Ado fans, old and new, get ready for this tour because it will be legendary.
Possible Performances and Collaborations
This is where we come to the interesting part. How is Ado going to maintain the mystery element while on stage? Some speculate that she may use digital figures or perform behind a screen as she did in her “Wish” tour. It’s all about preserving that mystique, though, right?
And collaborations? That's the million-dollar question. Ado has worked with some great names before. Picture if she could have taken some of them on the stage. Maybe it is going to be Ado’s first face reveal?
Ado New Album
Ado’s animated voice is rattling the music industry. This Japanese anime pop star is all the rage nowadays and there are good reasons why. With the release of her new album “Zanmu,” whispers of her world tour in 2024 are already heating up fans. Let’s get to the bottom of what Ado is currently cooking up and why everyone is talking about this singer’s potential world domination.
Ado's New Album "Zanmu"
Release Date and Editions
Get ready, folks. Ado’s second album titled “残夢” (Zanmu) was released on July 10, 2024. It’s been a minute since her last release of “Kyogen” in 2022, and this one is a full-length album with 16 songs to rock your world.
We're talking 12 fresh recordings of her biggest hits. Remember "Show"? That SPY x FAMILY banger "Kura Kura"? And who could forget "Chocolat Cadabra" from Lotte Chocolate's 60th birthday bash? They're all in there, plus four brand-spanking-new songs we haven't heard yet.
But wait, there's more. This album's coming in more flavors than your local ice cream shop:

Limited edition

All of them have their own benefits. You name it, trading cards, application cards, the lot. The limited editions? They’re adding in the Blu-ray or DVD footage of Ado slaying it at her “Wish” world tour in Los Angeles.

So what is the meaning of “Zanmu”? It is Japanese for “unfulfilled dream” – the sensation when you wake up but cannot get a certain dream out of your head. This is the atmosphere that Ado is bringing here.
“Zanmu" is not just music to Ado. It shows the transformation from her debut album up to the present. This is her telling it like it is, all the dreams she has achieved and the ones that have escaped her.
When you hit play on this album, you're not just listening to tunes. You're stepping into Ado's world. It is unadjusted, honest, and one wild experience. Get ready to laugh, cry, and everything in between.
Ado's Background and Rise to Fame
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Ado was born on October 24, 2002, in Tokyo, Japan. At just 12, she stumbled onto the Japanese video-sharing site Niconico through her Nintendo 3DS. That video-sharing site lit a musical fire in her.
By 2017, she was cranking out cover songs like nobody's business. And get this - she turned her closet into a recording studio. Talk about DIY.
Soon enough, everyone started to listen to her. In 2019 she collaborated with Kujira for “Kinmokusei” and with jon-YAKITORY for “Shikabanēze,” and all these put her through to the limelight.
Breakthrough and Major Japanese Hits
October 2020 was the game-changer. Ado signed with Universal Music Japan and dropped "Usseewa". It blew up. We're talking number one on Spotify Viral 50 Japan and Billboard Japan Hot 100. It also got 100 million plays on Billboard Japan's "Streaming Songs" chart in just 17 weeks. That's insane. It's the sixth fastest ever, and a teenage solo artist hadn't pulled that off before.
She kept on rolling with the hits. “Readymade,” “Gira Gira,” “Odo,” and “Yoru no Pierrot” – all the bangers.
Then came 2022. Ado scored the soundtrack for ONE PIECE FILM: RED. "New Genesis" didn't just top charts in Japan. It made history as the first Japanese song to hit number 1 on Apple Music's Global Top 100.
But here's the kicker: Ado owned the top three spots on Billboard Japan Hot 100 at the same time—something that's never happened before. "Shinjidai", "Gyakko", "Watashi wa saikyo" - all hers. "Utakata lullaby" reached No. 5, so she was only one single short of creating a top five.
Ado's Fan Engagement
Ado Face Reveal
Ado has not been doing her face reveal until today. She's stepping out of the shadows but still keeping that mystery alive. She's even doing a handshake event with 1000 fans. The twist? She'll be in a protective box while shaking her fan's hands. Classic Ado.
On social media, she's giving fans a peek behind the curtain. Snippets of new tunes, artwork concepts, personal thoughts - it's all there.
And for her global fans? She's adding English subtitles to her videos and posts. She's speaking your language, even if she's singing in Japanese.
Ado's Future Aspirations and Plans
Ado revealed some personal news during her concert at Yokohama Arena on September 17, 2023. She has big dreams, and she knows it. She is not afraid to be herself and to chase her goals.
She has her eyes set on the international music industry. This is what she wants to achieve:
Grammy Award: It is clear that Ado wants that golden gramophone. It is the biggest music award show, and she is determined to get one.
Coachella Performance: She's aiming for the big leagues. Coachella is not just a festival; it's a music mecca. Ado wants in, and if we can believe the rumors, she might have gotten her Coachella 2025 ticket ready.
World Tour: Ado's most ambitious one yet: planning a world tour that'll make your head spin. We're talking "never seen before by a Japanese artist" big.
This is not some daydream; she is scheming on world domination. And let’s be honest, she is not the only one. Babymetal, ONE OK Rock, AKB48, X Japan – it is a trail that they have well laid down.
Ado's not just making music. She's making history. And we're all here for it.
